Inside Molson Canadian Hockey House
I was lucky today to get a sneak peak at one of the hottest Olympic events in town: The Molson Canadian Hockey House (MCHH).
Aside from the Vancouver Olympic hockey games themselves, the MCHH is the place for hockey fans. The 65,000 square feet hockey hub, created just for the Games at Concord Place, has it all: Three giant, high-def screens for game-watching, drinks and dining, visits from big-name hockey celebs (including Wayne Gretzky) and Team Canada, and live music (including Barenaked Ladies, Sam Roberts and Tom Cochrane) for partying into the night.

Tyler Stewart (left), drummer for the Barenaked Ladies, welcomes everyone to the MCHH sneak peak. He's also Executive Director and Supreme Commander of Entertainment for the MCHH!
For fans, there are two ways to experience the Hockey House: the $99 Fan Zone Pass, which includes complimentary food, cash bar and “in and out privileges,” and the $450+ VIP Pass, which gets you a full day of complimentary drinks (free beer!), complimentary gourmet cuisine and a chance to mingle with Hockey Canada Alumni.

At this point, the Fan Zone Passes are almost completely sold out (so move fast if you want one), but there are still VIP Passes available for those hockey fans willing to splurge.

MCHH's VIP section, ready and waiting for hockey fans!
One night many fans won’t want to miss is February 22, when the MCHH hosts the IIHF Triple Gold Club Grand Induction Ceremony for hockey players who’ve won that rare trifecta of the World Championship, Stanley Cup and Olympic Gold. Canada’s inductees, including Rob Blake and Scott Neidermayer, will be on-site for the ceremony.
The Molson Canadian Hockey House kicks off its Olympic tenure with a huge opening night party this Friday, February 12. The Odds perform live, hockey legends Denis Potvin, Russ Courtnall and Stan Smyl will be in the house, plus other celebs, VIPs and more.
The Molson Canadian Hockey House is open from February 12 – 28, 2010, in tandem with the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Take the SkyTrain (closest station is Main Street/Science World) and walk; do not try to drive! With road closures and zero parking, driving is a waste of time.

Hey Dana, Actually, the 99$ tickets are ENTIRELY sold out for the entire span of the Olympics and the only ones available at this point are the All You Can Drink/Eat VIP passes at $499. However, if you are the high roller type, and are looking for the VVIP Experience, you can try bidding on one of our awesome meet and greets. Imagine sitting down to lunch with the legendary alumni you mentioned or others, like Grant Fuhr, Denis Potvin, Paul Coffey and others! Read more about it at http://vipthrills.com/mchh/?p=7

Whoa! Appreciate it! I always wanted to write in my web-site something similar to that. Can I quote section of your post to my weblog?
