Croatia, India and Canada Headline the 2019 Honda Celebration of Light

Summer’s most sizzling celebration returns with three nations engaged in a pyrotechnics battle that promises to dazzle and delight viewers of all ages.

The 2019 Honda Celebration of Light will showcase epic fireworks displays by India (Saturday, July 27), Canada (Wednesday, July 31) and Croatia (Saturday, August 3). This is the first time India and Croatia have participated in the world’s longest-running offshore fireworks competition.

Each show begins at 10pm, rain or shine, with music simulcast played on The Breeze 104.3FM and streamed through the Honda Celebration of Light mobile app (available for download in early summer).

The shows are enhanced by an all-ages festival featuring an array of food trucks, surprise activations and a site-wide liquor license; as well as the spine-tickling Red Bull Air Show, staged on all three festival nights before the fireworks take centre stage.

Live music performances will be hosted at The Keg Lounge overlooking English Bay with the current schedule featuring Vidya Vox and special guests (July 27); Scott Helman, Famba and special guests (July 31); and Kardinal Offishall and Maestro Fresh Wes (August 3).

Attendees who prefer guaranteed seating can reserve VIP and family-friendly viewing options at three ticketed locations: The Keg Lounge, the Concord Lounge at the Inukshuk, and the YVR Observation Deck. Air Canada’s Business Class Cabanas are perfect for hosting intimate VIP events, while expansive new viewing space The Patio can accommodate groups of up to 65 people.

Early-bird tickets for guaranteed seating will be available between Wednesday, April 10, starting at 10am and Thursday, April 11, until 10pm, using code HCOLVANCOUVER. Regular tickets go on sale Friday, April 12. For more information, visit www.hondacelebrationoflight.com.
