While Grouse Mountain is most commonly associated with it’s excellent skiing conditions, the Skyride, and the incredibly popular and challenging Grouse Grind, when you get to the top of the mountain, you realize there’s even more to see and do! Having such an epic outdoor playground so close to Vancouver is such a treat for staying fit and well, and there are several attractions you need to check out this month — all perfect for an outdoorsy family day out or an epic date!

Mountain Ropes Adventure™ (Opening May 10)

Grouse Mountain’s newest activity, Mountain Ropes Adventure™ opens May 10th! the latest activity features an aerial ropes course with a special kids zone! Mountain Ropes Adventure, for ages 8+, is a series of four aerial ropes courses with varying degrees of difficulty. Balance, jump, climb, swing and zip your way to the finish!

Kids Tree Canopy Adventure™ (Opening May 10)

The Kids Tree Canopy Adventure™ is a fully-contained activity zone consisting of treehouses, slides and ground games for children ages 3-8. Plus, it has an adjacent parents supervision area.

Skyride Surf Adventure® (Opening May 18)

Travel 1,610 metres on the rooftop of the Skyride! This is definitely something for the thrill-seekers who want to feel the wind on their face from this special viewing platform. Your guide will give a short but informative interpretive overview of the mechanical structure of the Skyride and will identify key landmarks and facts as you look out toward the Coast Mountains or the skyline of the Lower Mainland.

Getting there

Grouse Mountain is a 15-20 minute drive from Downtown Vancouver or a Seabus and short bus ride (approximately 45 minutes). And don’t worry, the Grouse Grind will be opening soon and we’ll be sure to let you know when!
