Sea-to-sky, mountain views and fresh air, even some events combining Vancouverites’ love of staying fit and craft beer; we’ve got something for everyone. Free Yoga (Weekly, Starts June 1)

Don’t want to spend any more time inside than you need to this summer? Want yoga with a mountain view? Mat Collective’s free outdoor yoga is back to give you every opportunity to enjoy our sunny Vancouver days! RBC Race for the Kids (June 2)

At RBC Race for the Kids, runners and walkers of all ages and abilities will participate in either a scenic 5k route or a 2k fun run, followed by a carnival celebration with healthy snacks and activities for the whole family. Funds raised through the event will support childhood cancer programs and research as well as mental health initiatives at BC Children’s Hospital. Global Wellness Day (June 8)

There seems to be a special day for almost everything these days, but if you’re going to celebrate something, it should be taking care of yourself, right? Global Wellness Day is celebrated annually on the second Saturday in May, and Vancouver is a city that is all about keeping well and happy. Tough Mudder (June 15-16)

Tough Mudder is back, bigger, and better than ever at Whistler Olympic Park in 2019. With courses from 3 miles to 10 miles, there’s a challenge for everyone. International Yoga Festival & Health Expo (June 16)

The 5th International Yoga Festival and Health Expo is a one day event that aims to spread the joy of wellness while bringing together local yoga and health enthusiasts. The festival features yoga classes with well known yoga instructors and showcases a marketplace of health conscious, natural, and organic foods from various vendors. Seek the Peek (June 16)

Seek The Peak is a 13 kilometre trail race that takes runners from sea level to the peak of Grouse Mountain. With an awe inspiring 1,400m climb, the event will test your fitness, stamina, strength and overall mental toughness but the camaraderie will keep you powering onwards and upwards. Face the 13 kilometer course alone or tackle the race with a team of four splitting up the legs, including the famous Grouse Grind.

International Day of Yoga (June 21)

Ever growing in popularity for its physical, mental and spiritual benefits, June 21 was proclaimed the International Day of Yoga by the United Nations. Celebrate this day of community and wellness with these unique Vancouver yoga experiences!

Multi Grouse Grind (June 21)

On the longest day of the year, the hardiest of athletes will attempt to break the record for the most Grouse Grinds completed in one day. This is the official and only sanctioned event to determine the record-holder for most ascents of the Grouse Grind in a one-day period. The challenge also raises funds for Grind for Kids, benefiting BC Children’s Hospital Foundation Click here for more info and to register.

Canada Beer Run (June 23)

Love running? Love beer?Why not throw them together and celebrate at The Canada Beer Run in Vancouver! Here’s how it works: participants begin in waves every 30 minutes and run from brewery to brewery, stopping at each to sample a delicious bit of what’s on tap. The Beer Run is meant to be non-competitive, fun and a tad ridiculous. Costumes are encouraged and it is recommended to bring your friends. For more info and the register, click here.

Cultivate Wellness (June 23)

In it’s third year, Cultivate Wellness is a magical mini retreat that takes place surrounded by the beautiful corn fields and apple orchards of the Chilliwack Corn Maze. You will be guided through THE CLASS by Taryn Toomey, as well as an uplifting session of yoga, meditaiton and kundalini. Vancouver Scotiabank Half Marathon & 5K (June 23)

Established in 1998, the Scotiabank Half Marathon now consistently hosts over 5,000 runners, making it one of the largest half marathons in Vancouver. The race takes runners on a scenic point-to-point course from UBC to Stanley Park. With a consistently competitive and elite field, this event has produced the fastest half-marathon times ever run in BC. Combine this with numerous bands, water stations, great medals, a finish line party, and you’re set for your best half-marathon yet! For more info and to register, click here.

Boozie Foodie Fit Day (June 29)

A day where local breweries, vendors, food trucks and artists come together to bring you a fun filled Boozie Foodie Fit Day! There will be beer and other non-alcoholic drink venders, along with food trucks, local food vendors and local artists! Anticipate three beer yoga classes, two beer fit sessions, and a colourful fashion show by Lorna Jane Active Wear Canada! For more info and to register, click here.
