But a new TV show will give our fair city a fair chance at playing its fair self.

There are also two investigative sci-fi dramas coming this way—one is a returning series while the other is a pilot for a possible new show.

Meanwhile, a revenge thriller that delves into the horrors of supernatural Hollywood is calling it a wrap, along with a hit medical drama.

A Hollywood blockbuster full of prehistoric monstrosities will be rampaging into town this week.

To add to the fun and festivities, a bunch of kids stowaway on a spacecraft and find themselves on their own in outer space in a new TV series that starts shooting this week.

And while that one gets going, a comedy about a cartoonist who becomes socially and politically enlightened through experience finishes shooting its first season.

In this week’s roundup of what’s going on in Vancouver’s screen scene, we’ve got a new TV series starting up while two other series call it a wrap. And a horror movie is on the horizon.

So it seems it’s hockey night in Vancouver—a TV version of a ’90s sports comedy-drama franchise gets underway today.

Two TV series complete shooting all episodes for their second seasons.

But one is an ensemble drama about a circle of friends continuing on after the loss of one of them while the other is a supernatural horror about a teenager learning to develop her bewitching abilities.
