The Emily Carr University of Art and Design is a hotbed for local, artistic talent. If your walls have been looking a little bare lately, or you’re interested in checking out what the latest crop of artists is working on these days, the 45th annual Legendary student art sale is the event for you.
The Emily Carr art sale is one of of Vancouver’s most highly anticipated seasonal sales (seriously), with people lining out the door on opening day to scoop up one-of-a-kind art made by Emily Carr students.
Hosted at the new Emily Carr campus, the sale includes three days of shopping. You’ll find original paintings, drawings, ceramics, and sculpture, along with photographs, prints, wearable works, housewares, greeting cards and more! Best of all, you’ll discover + support the work of emerging designers and artists.

Hundreds of local artists will be showcasing their original art pieces, all available for purchase at reasonable prices. The show gives you a chance to scoop up something fun and unique and for artists to get a taste of what showing their art in a gallery setting is really like (win/win!). And hey, you never know… maybe you’ll pick up a piece for $100 that will later be valued at $100,000! You never know!

The sale hours are as follows:
- Noon – 8pm | Friday, November 23
- Noon – 5pm | Saturday, November 24
- Noon – 5pm | Sunday, November 25
If you’re keen to get to the good stuff, you’ll have to be there on Friday. Otherwise, take your chances by showing up early on Saturday and Sunday. This sale gets busy, so be prepared!
