Cirque du Soleil Returns to Vancouver with LUZIA, A Waking Dream of Mexico

LUZIA will dazzle viewers in Vancouver starting October 3.

LUZIA is Cirque du Soleil at its finest: imaginative and visually stunning storytelling invites viewers into an ethereal world suspended between dreams and reality. This fall, the show will arrive in Vancouver, staged under the redesigned white-and-gold Big Top at Concord Pacific Place – and presale tickets are available now.

Breathtaking acrobatic performances guide LUZIA’s surrealist adventure, which journeys from an old movie set to the ocean to a smoky dance hall. Taking inspiration from traditional and modern Mexico, the show is filled with playfulness and striking artistry with rain incorporated into several scenes – a first for a Cirque du Soleil touring production. Aerialists suspended from trapezes fly and twirl under pouring showers; a male contortionist twists his body into beautifully unimaginable positions; and an aerialist defies the laws of gravity at the centre of a cenote. This is a show that truly must be seen to be believed.

LUZIA will be staged in Vancouver between October 3 and November 24, 2019. Presale tickets are available now (use the code MOTHERD); presale will run until May 12 (perfect timing for Mother’s Day gifts!). For more information, visit www.cirquedusoleil.com/luzia.
