Vancouver is spoiled for choice when it comes to skiing and snowboarding. We have three local mountains on the North Shore, plus three more a short drive away to the north and east. With three of the ski resorts open already and the remaining three scheduled to open in the next week or two, we’re getting excited about hitting the slopes. Here’s what you can look forward to at each resort for the 2019/2020 season.

Grouse Mountain to open Saturday for skiing and riding!

It’s the news that skiers and riders have been waiting to hear! Grouse Mountain is opening this Saturday to kick off the 2019/20 season with limited terrain starting on Saturday, November 30th at 9am.

Although we haven’t been getting much precipitation these days, the recent cold temperatures have allowed for some excellent snowmaking conditions.

Local Vancouver Mountains Now Open for 2018/19 Ski and Snowboard Season!

After a very long wait, the snow is … slowly… arriving in Vancouver! The local mountains have been making snow like mad and have officially opened for the 2018/19 season.

With snow in the forecast, it’s officially time to dust off your skis or boards and dig out your goggles and gloves! Here is what’s open so far:
